Summary

This study tests whether monthly support sessions led by trained Black men with diabetes can help other Black men better manage their type 2 diabetes. All participants receive diabetes education, and half also get 6 months of peer support followed by ongoing group activities. The goal is to improve blood sugar, medication adherence, and quality of life.
