Summary
This study tested a new once-weekly injection called MET097 in 133 adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes. The goal was to see if it helps with weight loss and blood sugar control compared to a placebo. Participants received either the drug or a placebo for 28 weeks, and researchers measured changes in body weight and blood sugar levels.
