Summary
This study tested a new once-weekly injection called MET097 in 133 adults who are overweight or have obesity and also have type 2 diabetes. The goal was to see if it helps with weight loss and improves blood sugar levels compared to a placebo over 28 weeks. Participants received different doses of MET097 or a placebo shot each week.
