Summary
This study tests whether the Mayo Clinic Diet helps people with obesity lose at least 5% of their body weight compared to standard advice. Two hundred fifty adults aged 18–64 with a BMI of 25 or higher will follow the diet using a book, an app, or both for 12 weeks. Researchers will also check if the weight loss lasts up to a year and how it affects quality of life.
