Summary
This study tests whether giving magnesium through an IV can safely slow a rapid heart rate in people with atrial fibrillation or flutter. Researchers will compare two different doses of magnesium to a placebo. The goal is to see if magnesium helps control heart rate within the first two hours, reducing the need for other medications.
