New procedure traps chemo inside lung tumors and starves them

Summary
This study tests a procedure called TACE (chemoembolization) for people with non-small cell lung cancer or lung tumors that have spread from other cancers. Doctors inject chemotherapy directly into the artery feeding the tumor, then block that artery with tiny beads. This traps the chemo inside the tumor and cuts off its blood supply, aiming to stop or slow tumor growth. The trial enrolls 30 adults whose tumors are growing despite other treatments and cannot be surgically removed.
