First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing a small, portable device called LiverScope that uses MRI-like technology to check for liver disease without needles or surgery. About 26 adults with fatty liver disease (MASLD or NAFLD) will have their liver scanned with LiverScope and compared to a standard MRI. The goal is to see if this portable device can accurately measure liver health in a doctor's office.
