Scientists watch Cancer's blood supply live during surgery

NCT ID NCT03823144

Summary

This study aims to learn more about the tiny blood vessels that feed solid tumors. Researchers will use a special microscope during a patient's standard cancer surgery to see these vessels in real time. The goal is to understand how tumor blood flow works and if it relates to how aggressive the cancer is or how well a patient might do after treatment.
