First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily injection of liraglutide (3.0 mg) can help children aged 6 to 12 with obesity lose weight. About 78 children will receive either the drug or a placebo for 56 weeks, along with counseling on diet and exercise. The main goal is to see how much their body mass index (BMI) changes and to check for side effects.
