New heart pacing technique could improve life for heart failure patients

Summary
This study tests a newer way to pace the heart (left bundle branch area pacing, or LBBAP) against the standard method (cardiac resynchronization therapy, or CRT) in 850 adults with moderate to severe heart failure. The goal is to see if LBBAP reduces death, need for heart transplant, or heart-related emergencies better than CRT. Participants will be monitored for safety and effectiveness over time.
