NCT ID NCT05636397
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether an oral supplement called L-Citrulline is safe for preterm infants born at or before 30 weeks who have lung disease (BPD) or a serious gut condition (NEC). The goal is to see if raising low levels of a natural substance in the blood can reduce harmful inflammation. About 36 infants will take part to check for side effects and how the body processes the supplement.
