First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how being tired affects the chance of tripping and falling in adults aged 55-70 with and without knee osteoarthritis. 24 participants wore activity monitors, walked on a treadmill for 30 minutes, and did strength and balance tests before and after. Researchers compared the two groups to see if knee osteoarthritis makes fatigue-related fall risk worse.
