First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at how walking for 30 minutes affects the risk of tripping and falling in adults aged 55-70 with and without knee osteoarthritis. Participants completed questionnaires, wore an activity monitor, and did strength and balance tests before and after a treadmill walk. The goal was to see if people with knee OA are more likely to fall when tired compared to those without knee OA.
