First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to validate an Italian version of a questionnaire called the dynamic Neurocognitive Adaptation (dNA) Scale, which measures how much older adults engage in physical, mental, creative, and social activities. Researchers will recruit 265 people aged 65 and older, including those with normal aging, mild memory issues, or dementia, and compare their activity levels with thinking tests and brain scans. The goal is to see if staying active in different ways is linked to better memory and brain function.
