NCT ID NCT02424123
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring a protein called S100B in the blood right after a first seizure could help predict if someone will have more seizures within a year. The researchers planned to follow 37 adults for one year, but the study was stopped early. The goal was to find a simple blood test to guide treatment decisions.
