Iron boost after valve surgery: a shot at better living?

Summary

This study tests whether giving iron through a vein after a heart valve procedure (TAVI) can improve quality of life and walking ability in older adults with low iron. About 402 people aged 65 and older will be randomly assigned to receive iron infusions or standard care. The goal is to see if iron therapy helps them feel stronger and more energetic during recovery.
