First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether placing a temporary balloon in the stomach can help control asthma in people who are obese. About 84 adults with uncontrolled asthma and obesity will either get the balloon plus diet and exercise, or just diet and exercise. The main goal is to see if asthma control improves more with the balloon after one year.
