New study aims to speed up cancer care for rural patients

Summary
This study tests a program called CARES that provides support, education, and resources to rural cancer patients. The goal is to see if it helps them start treatment sooner and finish it on time. About 320 adults with cancers like lung, breast, or colon cancer will take part. The study measures how quickly care is delivered and how patients feel about their care.
