No-implant heart procedure aims to help failing hearts

Summary

This early study tests a device that creates a small, temporary opening in the wall of the heart to relieve pressure and improve symptoms in people with advanced heart failure. The main goal is to see if the procedure is safe. About 20 participants who have not responded well to standard treatments will be enrolled.
