800 hong kongers with diabesity to be tracked for 3 years

Summary

This study is creating a registry of 800 adults aged 18–50 with type 2 diabetes and obesity (called diabesity) in Hong Kong. Participants will receive health checks at the start and again after 3 years, including eye, foot, blood, and urine tests. The goal is to track how their health changes over time and understand complications like heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease.
