First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether adding a six-month structured exercise and nutrition program to standard weight-loss medication helps adults with obesity keep more muscle mass and physical function compared to medication alone. About 120 adults aged 18-70 will be randomly assigned to either medication plus lifestyle support or medication only. The goal is to see if a combined approach can improve long-term health outcomes.
