First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study explores whether regular heat therapy (like using a sauna) can improve how the body and brain handle sugar in healthy older adults at risk for Alzheimer's. Researchers will measure blood sugar control and brain energy use in 60 volunteers aged 65 and older. The goal is to see if this simple approach could help prevent Alzheimer's disease.
