Could a single dose of radiation strengthen a failing heart?

Summary
This study tests if a single, low-dose radiation treatment to the whole heart can improve heart function in people with advanced heart failure who have not responded to standard therapies. About 40 adults with severe heart failure will receive this treatment. The main goal is to see if the heart's pumping ability improves by at least 5% over six months, while also checking for side effects and quality of life changes.
