First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study tests if a single low-dose radiation treatment to the whole heart can improve heart function in people with advanced heart failure. About 40 adults with severe heart failure who are not eligible for a heart transplant will receive this treatment. The goal is to see if it can boost the heart's pumping ability by at least 5% over six months, while keeping side effects low.
