12-Minute test could uncover silent heart failure in leg swelling patients

Summary

This study will test a simple finger-prick blood test that gives results in 12 minutes to screen for hidden heart failure in people with leg swelling (lymphedema). About 618 adults with swelling in both legs will be tested during their regular clinic visit. The goal is to see if this quick test can catch heart failure earlier, reduce delays, and save healthcare costs.
