Scientists hunt for better clues to predict heart failure survival

NCT ID NCT07332520

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 4,000 heart failure patients to see if combining information from common blood tests and heart scans could better predict a patient's risk of dying within one year. The goal is to help doctors make more accurate, personalized risk assessments for different types of heart failure. No new treatments were tested; this was an analysis of existing data to improve prediction tools.
