First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a hospital-wide treatment plan for people with heart failure and a leaky mitral valve (secondary mitral regurgitation). The goal is to see if the plan helps doctors identify who will benefit most from a minimally invasive valve repair procedure called MitraClip. About 50 adults with moderate to severe symptoms will take part, and researchers will track changes in their daily activity levels over 6 months.
