First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a clinic led by a heart failure nurse could help patients with heart failure get the right medications after getting an implantable defibrillator (ICD) or cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). The goal was to see if this approach improved heart function and reduced hospital visits. The study included 29 adults who had an ICD or CRT implanted between 2002 and 2019.
