First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a mobile app that plays guided imagery sessions can help reduce chronic abdominal pain in children aged 7 to 12. Participants listen to 10-15 minute audio sessions five days a week for eight weeks, alongside their usual care. The goal is to see if this approach lowers pain intensity and frequency, and improves anxiety. The study involves 36 children from Texas Children's Pediatrics.
