Summary
This study tested whether adding a genicular nerve block to a standard femoral nerve block improves pain control after total knee replacement. Eighty adults having knee surgery were split into two groups: one got the standard block, the other got both blocks. Researchers measured pain scores and how much extra pain medicine patients needed in the first 24 hours.
