Cold soup, hot sperm: gazpacho diet tested for male fertility

NCT ID NCT07375238

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether drinking a daily serving of gazpacho, a cold tomato-based soup, can improve semen quality in men with low sperm counts or poor sperm movement. Eighty men will follow a Mediterranean diet for 12 weeks, with half also drinking gazpacho each day. Researchers will measure changes in sperm health and oxidative stress to see if this simple food addition helps.
