Fitbit and coaching: a new boost for weight loss drug users?

NCT ID NCT06915090

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a Fitbit activity tracker plus a health coach could help people with overweight or obesity who are already taking weight loss medication (GLP-1/GIP) become more active. Fifteen adults took part in a 12-week program where their primary care doctor could see their activity data. The main goal was to see if this approach was easy to set up and use, not to measure weight loss or health changes.
