Summary

This study looks at the genes of 2,750 people in French Polynesia to find out why gout, inflammation, and metabolic diseases like diabetes are common there. Participants must be of Polynesian ancestry and either have gout or be part of the general population. The goal is to discover genetic links that could lead to better treatments in the future.
