NCT ID NCT02425345

Summary

This large study tested whether sending exercise guides and motivational tips through the mail could help older women become more active and improve their health. It enrolled nearly 50,000 women aged 60+ to see if this remote program could reduce serious health problems like heart attacks, strokes, and hip fractures. The goal was to help women meet national exercise recommendations using a convenient, home-based approach.
