This study tested whether daily resistance training is possible for people with type 2 diabetes while they are hospitalized for an infection. Researchers planned to enroll 24 patients, but the study was stopped early after only 4 participants. The goal was to see if exercise could help control blood sugar and prevent muscle loss during hospital stays.
