New drug combo aims to stall bone sarcoma in phase 2 trial

NCT ID NCT07619950

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs, lenvatinib and everolimus, works better than everolimus alone for people with advanced bone sarcoma (osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, or chondrosarcoma) that has progressed after standard treatment. About 94 adults aged 19 to 79 will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The main goal is to see if the combination can stop the cancer from growing for at least 24 weeks. Researchers will also look for biomarkers by taking blood and tissue samples during the study.
