Summary

This study tested whether esketamine, a fast-acting anesthetic, can reduce anxiety in 185 adults undergoing abdominal tumor surgery. Participants received esketamine or a placebo, and their anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Scale. The goal was to see if esketamine could help patients feel calmer before and after surgery.
