First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at 150 adults with spine injuries to see if adding an emergency MRI to a standard CT scan changes how doctors treat them. The goal was to find fractures that only show up on MRI and see if that alters the treatment plan. Results will help decide if emergency MRIs are useful for these injuries.
