This study tested whether sending educational text messages to people who had a heart attack could help them control risk factors like blood pressure and cholesterol, and prevent future heart problems. 370 patients participated and received text messages for one year. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost approach could reduce the chance of another heart attack or stroke.
