First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether electro-acupuncture can improve insulin resistance in people with obesity. 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real electro-acupuncture or a sham (fake) version. The main goal is to see if the treatment lowers a key measure of insulin resistance called HOMA-IR.
