This study follows 1,500 pregnant women and their children for up to 18 years to understand how a mother's health, lifestyle, and environment during pregnancy affect her child's growth and risk for conditions like obesity, diabetes, and fatty liver. Participants are American Indian or Hispanic women and their offspring. Researchers collect medical records, physical exams, and samples such as blood, stool, and breastmilk to track health over time.
