First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested a wearable ear device that sends gentle electrical pulses to a nerve to help control appetite. Sixty healthy adult women each had two visits: one with the device on and one with it off. Researchers measured how much they ate, their hunger levels, and food cravings. The goal is to find a safe, medicine-free way to manage eating habits.
