Smokers switch: can safer nicotine products cut cigarette use?
NCT ID NCT06372899
Summary
This study aims to see if e-cigarettes or oral nicotine pouches can help persistent cigarette smokers switch away from smoking. Researchers will enroll 200 adult smokers who have tried to quit before and randomly assign them to use one of these alternatives for 6 weeks. The main goal is to measure how much cigarette use decreases and to check for changes in levels of harmful chemicals in the body.
