NCT ID NCT06472869
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether giving free e-cigarettes to smokers who hadn't quit after lung cancer screening could help them smoke fewer regular cigarettes. Fifteen people who still smoked were offered e-cigarettes for 4 weeks and then followed for another 4 weeks. The goal was to see if this approach was practical and if it reduced the number of cigarettes smoked per day.
