Marijuana-Derived drug could ease sleep apnea symptoms in just two weeks

Summary

This study tests whether dronabinol, a drug similar to a compound in marijuana, can help people with obstructive sleep apnea. 120 adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea will take the drug for two weeks. Sleep tests before and after will measure if breathing problems during sleep improve.
