App aims to ease opioid addiction and mental health struggles

Summary
This early-stage study tests a smartphone app called NEAT-O that teaches coping skills to people with opioid use disorder who also have anxiety or depression. About 15 adults currently in medication treatment for opioid use will try the app for a few weeks. Researchers will check if the app is easy to use and helpful, with the goal of improving it for a larger future study.
