Wearable tech could revolutionize knee arthritis monitoring
NCT ID NCT07031518
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a wearable device (Syde®) can reliably track daily activity in people with knee osteoarthritis. 43 participants wore sensors on their ankles and wrist for two months. The goal was to see if at-home monitoring provides more accurate symptom data than occasional clinic visits, which can be affected by daily fluctuations. Results will help identify better ways to evaluate treatments and personalize care.
