Summary
This study looked at whether a special dietary supplement could help heal foot ulcers in people with diabetes and prevent the need for amputation. 35 adults with diabetes and foot ulcers were observed for 6 weeks while using the supplement at home. The main goals were to see how many ulcers fully healed and how many amputations were avoided.
