First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will give 28 women with obesity either a calorie-restricted DASH diet or a standard American diet for 4 weeks. Researchers will track weight changes and analyze stool samples to see how diet affects gut bacteria and related health markers. The goal is to understand how race and diet interact with gut microbes to find better ways to prevent and treat obesity.
