Summary
This study tested two ways of training long-term care workers (nurses, managers, and staff) to provide better care for LGBTQ+ people with Alzheimer's or other dementias. Over 760 participants from Minnesota took part in either an in-person or online training program. The goal was to see if the training improved staff skills, knowledge, and the care environment for LGBTQ+ residents.
