Summary

This study looked at whether a heart-healthy DASH diet, modified for people with type 2 diabetes, along with less salt, can lower blood pressure. 105 adults with diabetes and high blood pressure were given different diets for five weeks each. The goal was to see if the DASH diet with lower salt worked better than a typical American diet with more salt.
