First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how dairy fat, especially a component called milk fat globule membrane, affects inflammation after a high-fat meal. Thirty-eight adults with metabolic syndrome or obesity will consume shakes with different fats, and researchers will measure inflammatory markers in their blood over six hours. The goal is to understand whether dairy fat might reduce the body's inflammatory response to a fatty meal.
