Tiny DNA fragments in blood may predict bladder cancer treatment success

NCT ID NCT05630131

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether measuring bits of tumor DNA in blood and urine (called ctDNA) is possible in people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer receiving a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The goal was to see if this approach could help monitor how well the treatment is working. Only one person took part, so the results are very early and mainly show that collecting and testing these samples is feasible.
