Bladder cancer breakthrough? tiny DNA fragments may predict treatment success
NCT ID NCT05630131
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring tiny bits of tumor DNA in blood and urine (called ctDNA) is possible in people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer receiving standard treatment. Researchers collected samples before, during, and after therapy to see if ctDNA levels could help predict how well the cancer responds. Only one person took part, so the main goal was to test if the sample collection process works.
